The Media Library contains all audio, video and animation files offered in the Course in a central location. Read below for software requirements. Certain highlighted words in The Course may link directly to a meditation in the media library.

Media files on the sidebar of the Course default to a low bandwith setting, which you can override by logging in, editing your account and selecting the "high bandwidth" option. You will need to login to your account each time you visit and want high bandwith recognized as your default connection speed.

Required technology for all audio and video on this site is Macromedia's Flash player. If you don't have this software—most modern browsers already do—you will probably be prompted to download it for free.

When you return to visit, you may be prompted to download the latest updates for this software. Updates take only a few minutes, install automatically once accepted and shouldn't require a system reboot. This is highly recommended. Updates are usually released every few months.

Optional mp3 versions are available for download for many of the audio meditations. You can save these files to your hard drive to listen to later. Feel free to burn a copy for yourself on CD, but please don't distribute the file. The material is copyright © Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan. You may need mp3 player software.

Trouble Shooting
1. If you are unsure, test to see if you have the Flash player installed.
2. If you don't have it, download the Flash player.

Please be sure to note whether you are using a Mac or a PC, and whether your browser is Internet Explorer, Netscape or AOL. Also indicate your Internet connection's bandwidth.

Update 2003.01.31 - Previously both Flash and Shockwave plug-ins were required to view different kinds of media on TheUniversel.net. For simplicity and greater compatibility, only the Flash player is now required for all media on the site.
